At mydeco we know that being technically able and having fantastic style is far from impossible. In fact, we find it comes pretty naturally.
With this in mind, we also knew that it was only a matter of time until Twitter accounts got stylish.
We are excited to hear that Oprah Winfrey’s interior designer friend Nate Berkus has taken the plunge and personalised his. He has also designed a range of wallpapers for Tweeters to download.

He told social media guide Mashable: “I wanted to personalise my page. We started tossing out ideas and the thought came to us to use my sheet patterns from spring. They’re graphic, colourful, on trend… it just felt like a great way to make my page truly my own.”
He also said that whether you are an interior designer or not, everyone should consider customising their Twitter account so that it says something about them.
Mydeco designerns Abigail Ahern and Kirstie Allsopp all Tweet, and so does Jonathan Adler. Kelly Hoppen has aptly named hers “Taupe to Toe”.
We will be excited to see how they customise theirs in the near future.
Do you have a Twitter account? If so, have you added your magic sparkle to it?
