Famous for their upmarket food and life-saving lingerie, M&S is not the first name that springs to mind after the words ‘cutting edge technology’. All this is about to change, however, as the nation’s favourite high street store launches a new television that can access websites such as BBC iplayer and youtube.

Gone are the days of fumbling around on the computer to catch up on your favourite TV show. By simply connecting to a broadband cable, their hassle-free television streams websites straight to the screen. That means no more consoles and computers cluttering up your living space – just one TV. The wireless function also lets you display digital photos on the big screen, with a USB port for quick and easy access to any data stored on your computer.

If all this isn’t exciting enough, the price tag is the icing on the cake: £399 for the 26in model and £499 for the 32in version, which offers full high definition images. They are currently available to order on the M&S website, and will be available in larger stores in the New Year. We say grab one now while you have the chance.
